Pup Among the Pages: Gramercy Books in Bexley, Ohio

Hi! It’s been a little bit. I (Jess) am gearing up for a trip to Korea so it’s been a little busy and I got off track with posting. But that’s life sometimes!

Today I’d like to share one of our favorite places here in Columbus that also happens to be dog-friendly – Gramercy Books in Bexley, Ohio.

Right on Main Street, Gramercy has a variety of great books in every genre. While I was looking for a specific best-selling book on this excursion, I also love glancing at the shelf talkers and staff picks.

Found what we were looking for!

Roger and I also peeked at the fiction section before checking out.

Depending on the day, you may even see Wally, Gramercy’s mascot! Unfortunately he wasn’t in the day we stopped by.

One thing to note: Gramercy Books is dog-friendly, but it connects to a cafe, Kittie’s Cakes. Unfortunately dogs are not allowed inside Kittie’s Cakes (that’s the law), and are not permitted to cross the threshold that connects them inside. However, if you order something and take it outside to the patio, your pup can join you there.

This store is small but mighty. If you have a big dog or a dog who doesn’t like smaller spaces and aisles, you may want to skip Gramercy or come on a weekday if you can! We kept Roger’s visit short as he doesn’t share my love for browsing.

Afterwards, we took a walk around Bexley’s beautiful, walkable neighborhoods.
