We started Big Woof Travel to help parents of “big dogs” travel with ease. (Here we’re going to loosely define a big dog as any dog over 50 lbs.) We know firsthand how tricky it can be to find the right accommodations and excursions with a larger dog in tow, and our goal is to pull together trusted recommendations to help you and your pup travel comfortably.
Jess
My favorite state is Utah, and I’m hoping to get outside and explore more of the Midwest and Southeast now that we’re back in Ohio. I’m fond of car camping, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with chips after a hike, and room service.
Roger
We adopted Roger in 2020. He loves road trips, exploring new trails, and tennis balls. Roger prefers shorter hikes and lots of snuggles.
Cora
Our intrepid fluffy girl passed in 2022, and we miss her fearless spirit. She loved hiking (including forging her own trails), camping, trying to chase squirrels, and all things carbohydrate.
